Peta Meyerink - Registered Psychologist

BSocSc(SW) BSocSc(Psych) GradDip(Psych) MProfPsych

I founded Willowbright Psychology to offer something I believe is essential: a space where people feel truly safe, seen, and supported. A practice where care is collaborative, affirming, and paced to meet you where you are.

As a registered psychologist I have a  deep passion for supporting individuals and families through life’s many transitions. Whether you're navigating the early days of parenthood, facing the ups and downs of adolescence, or simply seeking support to manage your mental health, I’m here to walk alongside you.

I have a particular interest in perinatal wellbeing, and I offer compassionate care to those experiencing the emotional and psychological challenges of pregnancy, birth, and early parenting. I also love working with children, teens, and their families, helping young people build resilience and emotional awareness while supporting parents through the joys and complexities of raising them.

My approach is collaborative and empowering—I believe in equipping clients with the tools they need to take charge of their mental health. I tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs using evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and play therapy techniques.

I work with people across the lifespan and have extensive experience supporting a wide range of mental health presentations—from anxiety and depression to more complex emotional and behavioural concerns.

If you're looking for a psychologist who genuinely cares, listens without judgment, and helps you feel understood, I’d love to connect.
