Child and Adolescent Support
Compassionate, evidence‑based support for children and young people as they navigate growth, challenge, and change
Areas We Support
We support children and families with a wide range of mental health and developmental needs, including:
Emotional wellbeing - Anxiety, worries, low mood, confidence, and emotion regulation
Behaviour and family life - Big feelings, behavioural challenges, and strengthening attachment and connection
School engagement and difficulties
Therapy Approaches
Our approach is playful, relational, and grounded in safety and connection.
We draw on developmentally attuned therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Brief Solution‑Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and play‑based and creative toolsto help each child feel understood and supported.
Inclusive
A trauma‑informed approach means we move gently, build trust at the child’s pace, and understand behaviour through the lens of nervous‑system needs and past experiences.
A neuroaffirming approach means we honour neurodiversity, support sensory and communication differences, and focus on strengths rather than fixing.
Creating safe space for children to be themselves
Telehealth can be a comfortable and effective way for children to access support.
Many kids feel more at ease talking and playing from the familiarity of home, and sessions can include drawing, games, movement, and creative tools that translate beautifully online.
We take time to build rapport, keep sessions engaging and developmentally appropriate, and work closely with parents to set up a space that feels safe and distraction‑free.
With the right support, telehealth can offer flexibility, consistency, and a gentle pathway for children to connect and grow.
