WELCOME
Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re navigating early parenthood, worried about your child, or feeling stretched thin, you deserve a space that feels safe, warm and steady.
Willowbright Psychology provides attachment‑informed, trauma‑aware support for parents, children and adolescents — helping families strengthen emotional wellbeing and build secure, connected relationships.

Trauma Informed and Neuro Affirming
A trauma‑informed approach means I move gently, build trust at your pace, and understand emotions and behaviour through the lens of nervous‑system needs, developmental history, and past experiences. This applies across the perinatal period, early parenting, and throughout childhood and adolescence, recognising how stress, overwhelm, identity shifts, and attachment needs shape the way we cope and connect.
A neuroaffirming approach means I honour neurodiversity, support sensory and communication differences, and focus on strengths rather than “fixing” or masking. I work with parents, perinatal clients, children, and young people to understand their unique profiles and to create environments where regulation, connection, and authenticity can flourish.

Therapy Approaches
My approach is gentle, relational, and grounded in emotional safety. Whether supporting children, parents, or perinatal clients, I focus on creating a space where people feel understood, regulated, and connected.
I draw on developmentally attuned and evidence‑based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and play‑based and creative tools. For perinatal clients, this also includes targeted perinatal psychology approaches that support emotional regulation, identity shifts, birth‑related experiences, and the transition to parenthood.
Together, these approaches create a space where parents feel supported, perinatal clients feel grounded and understood, and children and adolescents feel empowered, safe, and free to be themselves.
